Benefits of Registering

Thread Tracker - keeps a record of the threads you have posted or subscribed to. Flags threads which have had a posting since your last visit.
Preferences - Save your settings for the number of days that the site displays as default, whether you wish to have your email address shown and the font size to display messages in. Your preferences are saved here so you may access them from any computer - you have password access to these.
Be Yourself! - When a post appears with your name on it, you will have posted it. Boards which don't require user login can lead to disruptive behaviour from impersonators.
